Meliá Cuba hosts the successful Copa Vacations Argentina Convention

More than 200 travel agents were offered the opportunity to discover the charms of the destination of Cuba during the Sixth Copa Vacations Argentina Convention, held from 16 to 24 September. Meliá Cuba and the Cuba-based inbound tour operator Gaviota Tours hosted the event, attended by a select group of tour operators who market holiday packages at destinations served by Copa Airlines. Among those represented were: Logan Travel, Delfos, Solways Argentina, Tower Travel, TopDest and Siga. The Hotel Meliá Las Dunas, on Cayo Santa María, in the north-central part of Cuba, was the main stage for the event. This magnificent 5 Star All-Inclusive hotel, renowned for the quality of its services, the wide selection of rooms available and its extensive range of entertainment activities, showcased its facilities for the events that took place.

Meliá Cuba invites you to come to the Caribbean to fish and win prizes!

Meliá Hotels International Cuba and the Marlin International Marina on Cayo Guillermo invite all fishing professionals and enthusiasts to participate in the 5th “Jardines del Rey Big Game Trolling” Fishing Tournament to be held at the tourist destination Jardines del Rey, on the northern coast of the central province of Ciego de Ávila, where the mega resort of Meliá Jardines del Rey will be opening shortly. The event, which will be taking place from 16 to 22 October, will provide an opportunity for the area of Cayo Guillermo to showcase its enormous potential for sailing activities and fishing. The tournament will be governed by the rules of the International Game Fishing Association (IGFA), using the tag and release system, with three photographs being taken as proof of the tags for the judging panel.

Awaken your senses on Cayo Santa María, the new destination of Copa Airlines in Cuba

Copa Airlines will be landing in the city of Santa Clara for the first time on Tuesday 9 December 2014, connecting almost 20 cities in Latin America and the Southern Cone with Cayo Santa María, in the centre of #Cuba. This new direct service departing from Panama will operate twice weekly: on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
