Three questions that have only one answer. We are talking about Varadero. Of course!
The white sands of this coastal stretch of almost 22 kilometers and its international renown is indisputable. There we manage 13 four and five star accommodations, which these days prepare their best side for the most anticipated day: the one when we can welcome you back.
During the necessary break, a different bustle invaded our hotels in Varadero. There is hammering, noise of motors and tools; smell of fresh paint is in the air and in every corner there are busy workers who, it seems, are very determined to make everything impeccable. Join us on a short tour by the blue beach, and you will see everything we have done for you … and what we are still working on.
Entering the Hicacos Peninsula, there Meliá Internacional Varadero welcomes us. A classic that was reborn in 2019, and where a space preferred by guests has planned its expansion: the modern gym. Likewise, details such as outdoor lighting, massage palapas, Balinese beds and beach walkways are taken care of.
At the next hotel -Sol Varadero Beach- the integral remodeling of the party room is progressing, along with the general maintenance of equipment and systems. Nearby is the future Sol Caribe Beach, which will bear that name after a meticulous process where all its spaces and services will be adapted to the standards of the Sol by Meliá brand. Spoiler alert: it will be the perfect place for a family vacation.
We follow the route and arrive at Meliá Las Américas, our golf headquarters in Varadero. Great news: the pool in the bungalow area has been renovated. More space for your enjoyment!
The two neighbors, Meliá Varadero and Sol Palmeras, are not far behind: the first is changing more than 230 rooms (you will be surprised when you see them). On the other hand, at Sol Palmeras we renovated the public bathrooms, the Italian restaurant, lobby and a new elevator will be available to customers.
You have to walk a bit more, but we are already at Meliá Las Antillas. At this Adults Only All Inclusive, we renovated the lobby, buffet and central kitchen, and the famous lake that surrounds the gardens will receive a major cleaning.
Near along the coast, the first Paradisus of our itinerary will change -for good- furniture, textiles, lighting and bathrooms in its rooms, as well as important spaces in its central building. Do you know which one we mean? Sure! It is Paradisus Varadero, with its exclusive Royal Service and The Reserve sections.
Another family hotel that is being renovated: Meliá Península Varadero. Here, the works reaches the central and children’s pools. Other renovations will not be visible to guests, but they will go a long way toward providing excellent service. We repair the central kitchen, including cooking areas, cold rooms and aluminum carpentry; plus, general improvements are being made to the systems.
Did you feel the way long? Long is the time for us to wait for you, and at the same time very short to decorate the hotels before your return. In each room, each bar, each pool or club, we want to make you feel very comfortable, in terms of comfort, safety and beauty. And although you will not see them clearly, we develop other technological actions that will facilitate our purpose of offering you a superior vacation experience in Varadero.
