Meliá Cuba is celebrating! Just like a real Christmas surprise, the opening of Meliá Jardines del Rey has arrived. A Five Star All Inclusive resort on Cayo Coco, scheduled to open in early January. Operations started on the 24th of December on the right side of the resort where there are 624 rooms overlooking the swimming pool, the sea and the gardens.
Food will be served in two restaurants with a buffet service, a snack bar, five à la carte restaurants specialising in Mediterranean, oriental, Cuban and international cuisine and seafood, a beach bar, ice-cream parlour and four bars.
Guests can relax at both the children’s pool and the pool with the aquabar service for the whole family, as well as Flamenco beach with its fine sand stretching for almost two kilometres next to clear turquoise water. The resort’s entertainment also includes a board game and card game club, sports courts, gym, sailing centre, daytime and evening activities on the beach, swimming pools, central entertainment square and the activity theatre. A gazebo for weddings, a function room, meeting rooms, mini-club, tourist information office and car hire add to the attractions of this new accommodation
The left section of this major resort will be opened next May during FITCuba 2015, the International Tourism Fair. Excellent suites affording views of the beach and the gardens, three swimming pools and another snack bar will then be added to the offering. Meliá Jardines del Rey, the twenty-seventh accommodation complex managed by Meliá Hotels International in Cuba, is recommended for families, couples, honeymoons, events and incentives.
