We are very pleased to announce that two hotels managed by Meliá Cuba have been named among the best all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, according to the list prepared by TripAdvisor, a leader in online travel and tourism.
Both the Meliá Buenavista and Sol Palmeras have been named as winners of the Travellers’ Choice Best of The Best 2024. This award is based on positive reviews by TripAdvisor users, and is only awarded to 1% of all the hotels listed on the website.
Located in a Biosphere Reserve in Cayo Santa María, Meliá Buenavista is aimed at guests aged 18 and over seeking a holiday in an exclusive environment full of privacy and intimacy. Sol Palmeras (Meliá’s first hotel in Cuba) is a lively family resort, just a few steps away from an excellent stretch of beach in Varadero.
Ten hotels that we manage were also named among the best in Cuba. In the cities, Travelers’ Choice awards winners included the Meliá Habana and Meliá Cohiba in Havana, Meliá San Carlos and La Unión Affiliated by Meliá in Cienfuegos, the new Meliá Trinidad Peninsula in Trinidad, and the Meliá Santiago de Cuba in Santiago.
In the resorts, Travelers’ Choice awards winners included Paradisus Princesa del Mar, Meliá Las Américas and Meliá Las Antillas in Varadero, the Meliá Cayo Santa María in the northern keys of Villa Clara, the Sol Cayo Coco in Cayo Coco, and the Paradisus Rio de Oro in Holguín.
Just as in previous years, the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice awards are based on the reviews made by travellers on their website.
