Meliá Cuba is ready for #FITCuba2018
Meliá Hotels International Cuba welcomes you to the International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2018. This time the honoured country is the UK and it is dedicated to the Villa Clara keys, an impressive destination in the country ideal for sun, sand and beach holidays.
As we continue to work in the biggest of the Caribbean islands intensifying digitalization and the design of attractive proposals for different market segments, we have fulfilled our FITCuba 2017’s promises. Earlier this year we have started running new hotels in the heritage cities of Cienfuegos and Camaguey: the Meliá San Carlos, La Union, Jagua in the former and Colon and Gran Hotel in the latter.
These openings have been featured in our campaign “a city a story” which promotes the cultural and tourist appeal of these destinations from the experiences of its own people. Family stories, traditions, travel tips and more are compiled in a series of videos, blog posts and landing pages so you can discover our new products at your pace. It is a fact, currently Meliá Cuba brands are present in more than 30 hotels across 10 holiday settings in the island.

Within a short period of time we will manage a 4th hotel under the Paradisus brand and the first to be located in Cayo Santa María: Paradisus Los Cayos. Set in one of the most unexplored beaches of the region the new five-star resort will target all market segments through its Royal Service and Family Concierge sections.
In the best fringe of the Varadero beach, Meliá Internacional will open as an option for families, adults, leisure and business travellers in general, by late 2018.

The Club Meliá Cuba initiative associated to the loyalty program Meliá Rewards strengthens and the Paradisus brand, its luxury attributes, Royal Service and Family Concierge, start off the year with important renewals. The traditional Resort Credit offer is maintained as are the special deals for families during the summer. New proposals and facilities are also featured through the MICE and Adore programs with services and products throughout the island aimed at professional services, weddings and honeymoons.
Meliá Hotels International Cuba underwent renovations in light of service excellence. After the passing of hurricane Irma, all facilities display improvements in their infrastructure and incorporate attractive options for their clients.
Smoke free zones consolidate under the “Pure Air” concept and the universe of Meliá expands through its websites: melia.com and meliacuba.com, strong presence in social media, proprietary blog and smart device apps along with facilities for agents and specialists via Meliá Pro program.
The already traditional Meliá events will continue to gather more friends around golf tournaments, Singles Party, Oktoberfest beer Festival, Argentinean week and Mexican National Celebrations as well as the recognized “Outlets” program for the local market.
