Time to celebrate Mexico’s independence at the Tryp Habana Libre hotel

cena fiestas patrias-03

The fantastic Tryp Habana Libre hotel at the heart of Havana is proud to be at the centre of the celebrations for Mexico’s independence. This time around it comes in the form of a buffet dinner prepared and groomed by the outstanding and widely celebrated Mexican chef Adrián Palagot.

This visionary creator with ample experience in high end international hotels and resorts will one more time entice, surprise and amaze his followers both Cuban and Mexican alike in a night bound to never forget by tasting some of his Mexican delicacies. The buffet-style parade will offer typical dishes from the Aztec country, like esquites y chicharrones, cochinita cakes, piglet and pibil chicken, snacks and tacos, to reach its climax with the famous Trompo al Pastor -inspired by the famous kebab of the Middle East, but seasoned to give it the Mexican touch.

Desserts, the sweet moment of the night, are so far a surprise, although it is already announced that they will be the most interesting part  to this proposal that arrives directly from Mexico for all those celebrating in the Cuban capital.

For the price of 30 CUC per person you’ll be able to experience and rejoice by immersing yourself into 100% Mexican culture as you transpire the openness that characterizes the peoples of Mexico and Cuba, surrounded by the inherent rancheras and mariachis of course.

The dinner will take place on September 16, 8:00 pm at the exquisite and popular Sierra Maestra restaurant in the hotel’s top floor, the perfect place to taste amazing food facing the sea up high and having the spectacular Havana skyline as your backdrop. More info and booking are available on the phone number 7 834 6881, the email ventas1.thl@meliacuba.com and the hotel’s Facebook page.
