Since the beginning of time music and sea have paired fantastically, not just because sweet and sometimes sharp melodies arise from the sound of the waves naturally, but for any form of music played on a coastal environment has soothing and stimulating effects on people’s spirits.
The Festival Josone Jazz & Salsa is meant to produce all kinds of benefits to the souls of those planning to stay in Varadero hotels from 12 to 15th July. Organized by Cuban singer, composer and band leader Isaac Delgado, the event is set to be a display of talent of musician from all over the world.

Jazz genius Nicolas Payton, Salsa legend Gilberto Santa Rosa and Urban duo Gente de Zona will perform in the two stages set for the occasion which will host up to five daily concerts.
From 7.30 pm to 2.30 am, rhythms like Rumba, Salsa, Son, Urban Music and jazz will shine in the domains of Josone Park. Spoiler alert: there’ll be jam sessions every night after the bands’ acts.
On the Cuban jazz side, the festival boasts of Alejandro Falcón, Cucurucho Valdés and Ernan Lopez Nussa and Horacio “El Negro” Hernández as distinguished performers.
Entry tickets will have a cost of 25 dollars (per night) and can be bought from local travel agencies, in the park or through the distribution network of organizers Paradiso and Artex.
