The International Tourism Fair FITCUBA 2015 will be focusing on water activities, Italy and the tourist destination Jardines del Rey. Located on the north coast of the central province of Ciego de Ávila, Jardines del Rey is the fastest-growing tourist destination in Cuba. It impresses visitors with its biodiversity, conservation of ecosystems and numerous beaches with warm transparent waters of the Coco and Guillermo keys where there are four all-inclusive Meliá and Sol hotels.
The event headquarters will be at Meliá Jardines del Rey, which, with 1176 rooms, is the largest Meliá Hotels International hotel worldwide. Operations in this Five-Star All-Inclusive resort started on the 24th of December on the right side of the resort where there are 624 rooms overlooking the swimming pool, the sea and the gardens. Food will be served in two restaurants with a buffet service, a snack bar, five à la carte restaurants specialising in Mediterranean, oriental, Cuban and international cuisine and seafood, a beach bar, ice-cream parlour and four bars.
The left section of this major resort will be opened next May during FITCuba 2015, the International Tourism Fair. Excellent suites affording views of the beach and the gardens, three swimming pools and another snack bar will then be added to the offering. Meliá Jardines del Rey, the twenty-seventh accommodation complex managed by Meliá Hotels International in Cuba, is recommended for families, couples, weddings and honeymoons, events and incentives and is the largest of the hotel chain worldwide.
