Meliá Cuba certainly knows how to party, and this was clear on the occasion of one of the most prestigious events in the country’s tourism industry. Attended by Gabriel Cánaves, General Manager of the Cuba Division of Meliá Hotels International, and by major tour operators, travel agents, airlines and members of the national and international press, the Christmas 2013 gala dinner was celebrated in true style.
Habana Compás Dance was the dance company chosen to add some rhythm to the evening, and with their drums and chairs used as percussion, they kept the audience captivated and entertained. The company’s achievements and future plans were announced by the new Director of Communications at MHI in Cuba, Elvira Ameijeiras, who, in an outstanding display of grace and professionalism, gave a highly successful presentation on the company.
