Meliá to unveil the new Paradisus Los Cayos in central Cuba

As soon as for November of the current year Meliá Hotels International will add a new hotel to its portfolio in the privileged white sands and turquoise waters of Cayo Santa María. The Paradisus Los Cayos is an all-inclusive resort recommended for families, weddings, honeymoons, meetings and events, diving, fishing, and adults only.

It is the ideal spot to enjoy in couples or family in a high end modern hotel fitted with the latest domotics in the midst of the exquisite and natural ambience of the Cuban keys.

It is situated 55 km from Caibarien, 62 km from Remedios, 198 km from Trinidad, 177 km from Cienfuegos y 386 km from Havana. Access points are through the Santa Clara International Airport, 110km away, the Cayo Las Brujas Domestic Airport, 10 km away and through a 48 km stone made earthwork (approximately 40 minutes drive going from Caibarién to Cayo Santa María). Local transportation options are taxi, tourism bus and rentals.

It’s a contemporary eco-resort with 802 rooms type suite (handicapped included) occupying a total area of 20.9 hectares. There is direct access to the beach in which the “The Reserve” area stand out offering the Family Concierge service as an attribute. The exclusive Royal Service (only Adults) is in a distinguished part of the hotel with personalized services, unprecedented privacy and free Wi-Fi.

The hotel is specialized in attention to business and leisure groups and MICE. There is 1 multipurpose 1606 sq metre salon which can be converted into 3 and 1executive salon measuring 49 sq metres. There is also a usable hall in the conventions area and alternative locations can also be utilized for meetings such as the beach, pools, gardens and Business Centre. Capacity ranges from 24 up to 802 people.

The hotel is also perfect for weddings and honeymoons, with gazebo and wedding pavilion in the main building. Highly professional personnel will display great attention to detail in order to insure unforgettable experiences for couples under the Adore by Meliá programs for soon to be married and newlyweds.

With respect to gastronomy the hotel offers a varied and refined option of 12 restaurants and snack bars and also 15 bars. Choices range from Asian, Mediterranean, Grill, Àla carte and others.

There is an Internet Centre in the lobby with enabled computers and Wi-Fi access in every area of the hotel.

In the Royal Service (only adults) and “The Reserve” areas guests will be able to enjoy their respective exclusive swimming pools but there are also the standard hotel and kid’s pools.

The hotel faces around 640 metres of beaches that will be completed with umbrellas, deck chairs, toilets, showers, beach bar and Balinese beds of which 100 metres are exclusive for Royal Service and “The Reserve” guests.

For the interested there’ll be also different life enriching experiences like wine tasting, paint, craft and Spanish classes among others. There are also various programs of activities to choose from such as beach jogging, dance classes, percussion, shows, etc.

Sports lovers will have the choice of 2 tennis courts and a multi-function court. Diving and nautical fans will enjoy different options such as kayak, aqua bikes, sailing,surf boards, snorkelling, etc. Gyms, beauty salons, Yhi Spa and massage area are also included.
