2020 has been a difficult year for tourism, in which most travelers have stayed at home to preserve their health and that of their family. However, this has not prevented them from praising the hotels and attractions they love and continuing to plan their future vacations in new or familiar destinations.
This is how 18 #MeliaCuba hotels have been awarded this year with the Travelers’ Choice Awards, a distinction that is supported by the opinions of thousands of users who interact on the website www.tripadvisor.com.
The Meliá Cayo Coco, Meliá Buenavista and Paradisus Río de Oro top the list, having been selected among the 25 best all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, with the highest merit “Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best” while the rest of the facilities identified as Meliá Cohiba, Meliá Habana, Meliá San Carlos, Meliá Santiago de Cuba, Gran Hotel By Meliá, Sol Cayo Coco, Sol Cayo Guillermo, Paradisus Los Cayos, Meliá Cayo Guillermo, Sol Palmeras, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Marina Varadero, Paradisus Princesa del Mar, Meliá Las Antillas and Meliá Internacional Varadero were awarded “Certificates of Excellence”, a category recently renamed as “Travelers’ Choice”.
This is undoubtedly a recognition to their employees who have worked hard this year renovating areas and facilities and redesigning processes and services to ensure the well-being of their guests and the care of the environment.

The quality of services and constant innovation in some of these facilities make them pioneers in the development of innovative products promoted by the company this year, such as the programs for “Remote Work” and “Long-Term Holidays“.
