Meliá Habana on the heart of Festival Jazz Plaza 2018

One more day to go before the inauguration of the Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana and the music is already in the air. The streets fill with many culture enthusiasts who have travelled from many places of earth to witness art on its making.

Theatres and clubs get ready for a battle of pianos, trumpets, bass and drums. This year, Santiago de Cuba will be also part of the celebration, that on its 33th edition will gather artists from over 10 countries. Jazz bands from Brazil, Australia, UK, Uruguay, Italy, Austria, Canada, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico will be stars on the shows that will run from 16th to 21st January.

Zule Guerra

The Festival spaces will be all over the capital with Meliá Habana as the secondary venue. Here, guests and visitors will get to enjoy of jazz sessions every night from 10.30 pm at the lobby bar.

Dayme Arocena, Cucurucho Valdés, Zule Guerra and Giulia Mataspina stand out among the celebrities to perform at the five-star facility, in which discounts on mixed drinks with tonic and Beefeater Gin, Vodka Absolut and Havana Club 7 years rum will be offered to the public.
