Last night, the Cuban Minister of Tourism said goodbye to FITCuba 2017 at the hotel Brisas Guardalavaca of the national hotel chain Cubanacan. The orchestra Habana de Primera harmonized the activity performed on the beach, where the next edition of FITCuba was also announced. Next year ,the fair will take place at Cayo Santa Maria and devoted to the United Kingdom and also to the product Sol and Playa.

This edition of the fair bet on the circuits as the most interesting way to discover Cuba and its historic values. The German clients are adepts of this modality and the market has had an ongoing increase trend visiting Cuba.
In fact, we shared with Thomas Cook AG on the afternoon on May 4th with a tour across Sol Rio de Luna y Mares and Paradisus Rio de Oro. With the sea as a background, Roland Junker, the Director of Product from Thomas Cook, was interviewed by our team and the potential of Cuba to welcome German travelers was highlighted as well as the future of the circuits combining the hotels, which our company will soon add to its offer on the center of the country.
The Cuban Tourism Minister gathered the representatives of the German companies participating at the event and together they enjoyed an exclusive lunch in Bahia de Naranjo after a sailing tour on a catamaran.
Cuba, a potential destination for circuits
Due to its cultural wealth and its lush nature, Holguin has become the third most important touristic area of the country. Many claim that in this province you can find some of the best Cuban beaches like Playa Esmeralda, where two of our resorts are emplaced, Paradisus Río de Oro and Sol Río de Luna y Mares.
Julio Cesar Naranjo , delegate of the Tourism Minister in the province, told us precisely about Holguin , as part of the presentations , which took place on the morning from the second day.
In that context, Alejandro Varela, representative of the World Tourism Organization, detailed the behavior of this sector on a worldwide level and specifically in the Caribbean area.
On the other hand, Jose Manuel Bisbe, president of Viajes Cuba, highlighted the potentialities of the island when it comes to circuits and performed along with his presentation an exciting tour across the main destinations for this purpose in Cuba.
From 2018, our company will add eight hotels to our offer in the cities of Cienfuegos , Camagüey and Trinidad with a total of 931 rooms, which increases our presence in the center of the island and reinvigorates the segment of circuits in Cuba.

The context of the fair also made possible the launch of the tourism website www.cubatravel.cu. Through the portal, the visitors will be able to obtain information about Cuba and all the tourism modalities in the Island.

Paradisus Rio de Oro welcomes the official press at FITCuba
The Paradisus Rio de Oro resort was back on stage last Thursday with a dinner of gala devoted to the press. The journalists, transferred in horse carriages from the lobby to the pool enjoyed a delicious menu harmonized by a cultural show, which spot elements of the Afro Cuban culture.
The journalists will be received on May 6th at Melia Santiago de Cuba, to complete a several days tour around the island.
The National Tourism on the context of FITCuba
FitCuba 2017 was the appropriate context to discuss issues related to the national market, which represents one of the greatest sources of income for hotel facilities during the summer.
As a part of the program of FITCuba, our team joined the Cuban receptive travel agencies and other hotel brands at a big holidays fair in the city of Holguin on the morning of May 6th. We announced our OUTLETS calendar for the entire country with Melia Cohiba and Tryp Habana Libre as main headquarters.
FITCuba 2017 comes to an end
After several days of valuable work, the Cuban Tourism Minister , Manuel Marrero closed the Tourism Fair FITCuba 2017. The ending ceremony took place at the hotel Brisas Guardalavaca with the special performing of Habana de Primera.
FITCuba 2018 will be celebrated in Cayo Santa Maria and will be devoted to the United Kingdom.
